New Yorker Illustration

Water Colour Painting
Adobe Indesign
Adobe Photoshop

A watercolour art piece that was created for a cover concept exercise for the magazine ‘The New Yorker’.

The approach was to create an artwork using a traditional medium that tackles an environmental issues. My approach was to highlight water pollution use water colours which gives an ironic juxtaposition.

Once the painting was completed, is was scanned and taking into photoshop for minor fixes for blemishes then formatted into a magazine document.
